The first responsibility of a breeder and true steward of our breed is to preserve our most cherished genetics for long term benefit. After the future is secured, we can try new and interesting formulations that will occasionally uncover goldmines of opportunity. The latter type endeavor created the great Daytona dog, a product of breeding the amazing Nascar dog to the apex Eli genes in Garner's "Logo". Daytona is phenotypically on a different level and early indications are that he reproduces himself. Here we are breeding Daytona to a top shelf El Titere daughter named Titerina. She has produced numerous superior quality offspring from various studs. My instinct is the world class Eli blood from Dayton's bottom side will light up Titerina's El Titere genes and we will write the next chapter in the El Titere book.
